if you caught your best ranch hand having sex with your cattle?

February 202010

Would you address it or let it slide since he is so good at his job and its a perk you dont need to pay for?

oh damm, sounds like quite the situation. there is obviously a reason hes doing that. the cow seduced him for christ sakes. i would say let him keep the job. you stay happy, your ranch hand stays happy, and as a bonus your cows are happy. why dont you try joining in the fun???

Cattle ranch and Horse ranch..?

February 182010

There is no difference between and cattle ranch/ acreage to a horse ranch/acreage right? Just wondering because we’re going to be moving to Arkansas. :]
Thankss.
Well, I have 3 horses, so thats why I was asking lol. I can’t find a lot of ranches and horse farms around Hot Springs. The one I found is in Ash Flat, lol.

I’m from Arkansas and currently live here. I don’t think there is a Big difference but it matters what kind of land your going to be using it for. Cattle ranch is more suitable for cattle of course and same as horse ranch is more suitable for horses. What would you be wanting to us the land for? I’m sure a cattle ranch isn’t as well "kept" unlike a horse ranch would be short grass for horses. What part in Arkansas are you moving to? That makes a BIG difference as well! Do you have pictures of the place?

From 1998 to 1999, the number of cattle at the Skinner Ranch grew from 200 to 300. From 1998 to 1999, the…?

February 162010

number of cattle at the King Ranch grew from 800 to 900.

Mr. King claims that from 1998 to 1999, the number of cattle at the two ranches grew by the same amount. Use mathematics to explain how Mr. King might have justified his claim.

Ms. Skinner claims that from 1998 to 1999, the number of cattle at the Skinner Ranch grew more. Use mathematics to explain how Ms. Skinner might have justified her claim.

compare the difference or the amount of change to the original starting number. i.e. 100 is the difference in each case but compare this to 200 in the first case and 800 in the second

100/200 = 0.5 or 50%

100/800 = 0.125 or 12.5%, the first has the faster rate of growth it grew by half it’s original amount

What are the pros and cons of ranching cattle for poultry meat?

February 72010

and owning dairy for cattle milk?
sorry i meant ranching cattle for just plain MEAT and chicken for poultry.

Pro Ranching: Properly managed pasture preserves open space and habitat for native species.

Con Ranching: very difficult lifestyle, hard to make a living. Improperly managed pastures can lead to erosion and water quality problems.
