Obviously you have a passion for horses. That’s great, wonderful, and so forth. Horses do not make you money, they cost money. Unless you are a equistrian vet. it’s not something you make money on. It’s a hobby for people who have money to spend on it, and an awful lot of money. I was involved with the horse deal for years when I was younger. Thankfully I was a kid so it didn’t matter too much and all I had to experience was the fun side.

But horses, will never pay your bills. They are a tramendous finacial expense. I’m not trying to tell you what to do, but I am willing to set aside Kantian ethics for the sake of you being aware of how unpragmatic a ‘career’ in horses would be.

That does not mean horses cannot be a huge part of your life. Back home, there’s a horse in my back yard. However, that horse does not make money for anyone–it’s costed an awful lot of money. But you can be successful in another field and use your earnings to finance your equistrian interests.
