   here in n. carolina …
   here in n. carolina. while i was drifting down a creak some guy came up to me and told me that i couldn’t fish on his side of the creak. which had me puzzled and disappointed because i was planning a fishing expedition down the creak into a river called Rocky River.

   true that! here in texas, we arent aloud to go fly fishing on most parts of the guadelupe river because all the land is owned by other people. It makes it harder for people to get the winter trout down here.

   I too am fed up with some out of state company or arrogant SOB closing off the access to Colorado fishing.

   Private water in CO …
   Private water in CO is a ridiculous concept. Just because someone owns land shouldn’t give them the right to lock up the water and keep everybody out. CO needs to give fishermen access to the water like UT and MT.
