What is the best state climate-wise to havea Animal Rescue/ Horse Ranch?

January 202010

I am planning a move to a more southern state (i’m in New England). I am trying to get away from the winters and cold weather but i would also like to avoid the constant threat of hurricanes so nothing on the coast would be good. What state has warm-hot springs and summers and chilly but not too cold winters with little snow? Also what information on average temmperatures and precipitation of the state do you know about? Any advice or ideas would be appreciated! Thank You!

I would say Texas would be a good state for that in such cities as Lubbock or Amarillo if you want chilly winters or Dallas/Ft Worth for a little warmer but more rain:
