Don’t Leave a sick dog with them!
Edit Review? By josephine b.
I’ve Left my dog Zoey with Rover Ranch Twice and this last time Dec 23, 24 25 She was sick with a LUTI (Lower urinary tract infection) she needed to be given two Calvamox pills Twice a daily. I sent all together 8 pills and when I got back from Vacation I come to find out that Zoey is still sick! I took her back to the Vet and they tell me that she still has some bacteria in her urine. This costed me another 130.00 Today while I was looking in the small tote that I left at Rovers Ranch with Zoey I see that 4 pills are in the tote and I come to the conclusion that these very expensive and strong antibiotics were not adminstered as promised to me they would be by the Owner there. I sent them a message advising of how very disappointed I was with them and that I would make sure to share this experience with other pet owners that travel in wilmington. They had a policy that required me to pay them 51.00 in advance to hold her spot for the three days but they failed to provide me with the service they assured of before I left Zoey there. So I’ve now spent over 250.00 trying to get rid of a LUTI all because a day of antibotics was skipped.
It was very negligent of them to omit the medications, but one more day of the clavamox would not likely have made the difference between curing the infection or not. Many UTIs need more than one round of medication..
I get an herbal remedy at the health food store, which works far better than any antibiotic for UTIs.
