Rendezvous Show Ranch Horse Versatility Class

These are the highlights from a class I did for fun at my latest show. We finished fourth overall and $180 dollars richer!

If you don’t know what a ranch horse versatility class is, it is a series of so many classes in a row. In my case I had to do Hunter Under Saddle, Western Pleasure, Ranch Horse, Reining, and Barrel Race. In between each event you have five minutes to change tack or whatever. It is a hoot to watch people go from english to western in five minutes. You get two people to help you change (AKA Pit Crew).

We got at least a first in HUS, a first in WP, fourths in Ranch Horse (we went off pattern :/), fourths in Reining, and third in Barrel Race (OMG!!) I couldn’t believe it, but germ got a time of 29 sec. I couldn’t believeLike I said, I finished fourth overall!

This was just a fun (not serious) class I did to have some fun with my horse. I had a huge cheering section and a beach theme. I hope you guys enjoy the video. And yes, during the reining, I DID clip a grass skirt to Germ’s mane. Ha ha.
